About this image:
This is a variation of my image called “Bark”, which is featured in my Flora / Trees collections.
I liked the deep cracked texture and the play of light and shadows on the bark of this old tree trunk
The image was taken in March while hiking at the Blue Hills Reservation in Massachusetts. I decided to convert the image into Black and White to show its great abstract features.
